On May 13, 2022, Latvian AS “LatRailNet” and Lithuanian AS “LTG Infra” agreed on amendments to the agreement signed on December 9, 2019 “On cooperation in distributing infrastructure capacity in more than one network”.
Topics discussed in the amendments include:
1) Development of railways that cross the Latvia-Lithuania border in accordance with Annex 3 of the agreement;
2) Representation of railway applicants when requesting infrastructure capacity;
3) Cooperation in the organization and initiation of international train routes (for ad hoc requests of cargo trains).
